I am considering selling one of my rental properties as it is too expensive to maintain. This property isn’t as popular as my other properties because it is too far from the beach. Two of my other properties are on the beach, which is great for people with families or those who like to take walks along the beach during the evening. The property I want to sell is older and does not have new appliances or many other updated features that my other properties have. I’ve contacted a public adjuster to determine how much the property is worth. I want to know whether to sell the property now or wait until the market improves. I also want to know if remodeling the home would increase its value or would make it more attractive to potential renters. There are things I like about the property I just wish other people could see what I see. On the other hand, I know that if I keep the property, I will end up losing money in the long run.
